1. Acrylic board is divided into casting board and extrusion board according to the production process. According to the transmittance, it can be divided into transparent board, translucent board (including dyeing board) and colored board (including black and white and color board);According to the performance of the impact plate, ultraviolet plate, ordinary plate and special plate such as high impact plate, flame retardant plate, frosted plate, metal effect plate, high wear plate, light guide plate, etc.
A: Casting plate: high molecular weight, excellent stiffness, strength and excellent chemical resistance.Therefore, it is more suitable for processing large size logo plaque, relative in the softening process of a little longer.This kind of plate is characterized by small batch processing, incomparable flexibility in color system and surface texture effect, and complete product specifications, practical for various special purposes.
B: Extruded plate: compared with casting plate, extruded plate has lower molecular weight, slightly weaker mechanical properties and higher flexibility.However, this feature is conducive to bending and hot forming processing, softening time is shorter.In the processing of large size plate, it is conducive to a variety of rapid vacuum suction molding.At the same time, the thickness tolerance of extruded plate is smaller than that of cast plate.Because extruded plate is mass automated production, color and specifications inconvenient conditioning, so the diversity of product specifications are limited.
2. There is also a kind of acrylic recycling board called recycling acrylic scrap, after thermal degradation to get recycled MMA(methyl methacrylate) monomer, and then from the chemical polymerization reaction.After strict process flow, the MMA monomer can be reobtained without any difference in quality from the newly synthesized monomer.However, the degraded monomer produced is not of high purity, and its quality and performance are very poor after the plate is formed.
Conclusion: The extruded plate is formed by extruding grain raw materials after high temperature dissolution, while the cast plate is formed by direct casting of MMA monomer (liquid). Although the extruded plate is smooth and clean in appearance, it can be polymerized when forming grain raw materials.In the processing of the plate when its structure, performance is weak, do not suit to serve as the material of outdoor mark product, only suit to make the indoor product such as crystal word or product bracket.
In addition because extruded plate most does not have the ultraviolet ray protection function, its outdoor service life and the casting plate can not be compared, the color will fade and is very easy to embrittlement, until the rupture.Casting board is the completion of structural polymerization in the plate processing process, during which the addition of UV absorbent, with extremely high strength and UV function, outdoor service life as long as more than 5 years or even 10 years, during the use of the color has been bright as new.
